Let us look back on a Golden Week journey touring Turkey and the island of Rhodes.
This time it was a trip of twelve travelers, including three newlywed couples celebrating their honeymoons.
After arriving in Istanbul, we flew on to Nevşehir Airport in Cappadocia.
Though the journey left us a little tired, sightseeing began right after arrival aboard our private coach.
What an air of luxury!

In the evening, we arrived at our cave hotel.
Although we were blessed with perfectly clear skies, strong winds meant the balloons did not fly on either of the two nights of our stay.
Everyone had been so looking forward to it, so it was a disappointment, but the Turkish aviation authorities made this decision for the sake of safety, leaving nothing to chance.
The next day, we set off early in the morning for the resort town of Fethiye!
